Adam and I went to the Spring Fair, Birmingham NEC, yesterday, what a day, the fair was huge, we could have quite easily spent the entire 5 days there and still not seen everythng, we ended up just wandering aimlessly and stopping at places we found interesting, there were hundreds of places we found interesting so we made a point of grabbing brochures and moving on to the next stand, we must have ended up with 20 kilo of brochures at the end of the day, Adam having the majority being so much younger than me, well thats my excuse and im sticking with it.

We found some great suppliers and I will be adding their products over the next few months, would have loved to add everything available but we would not have enough lifetimes between us to include even a fraction of the show.

Best Value Buys have been trading for 6 months to date of posting, it has been a massive task to get all our products on our website, you may notice that many of our descriptions are stock supplier descriptions, I still have many thousands of products to add so the more helpful and descriptive details will not be arriving for a while, as soon as I have added basic details for all our products I will go through them again and add more professional, descriptive and helpfull details.

You may also have noticed that most of our prices are well below RRP, this is because I have added prices without activly researching the market, you may think that having much cheaper prices is good all round but it is not necessarily the case, if prices are too low this devalues the market, for collectors the product you may have bought will decrease in value, for other retailers to maintain sales they need to drop their price as well, this means they need to sell a lot more products to maintain their profits just to cover their overheads, this can cause extreme difficulties in todays economy, we are a relativly new company so our overheads are quite low, we are however growing quickly and there will be a stage when it affects us.

Because of this we will when time allows increases our prices, we will always be cheaper than our competetors and much cheaper for the members on our collector pricing structure but we need to make sure your products keep their value so when they are discontinued they increase in value from a higher level.

Please be aware that as I have pointed out above it may be some time but it is in the pipeline, we will continue to have regular special offers even offer that you influence, just put in a request on here and if their is enough interest we will tailor a special offer to suit.
